How To Cut Pets Hair In The Best Way

Cut hair If your dogs curling locks are way too long for just a couple of combs, maybe you need to invest in a pair of electric clippers. Cut Hair With an Electric Clipper or Brush, Then Shave The Legs If your wiry coated dog happens to have long locks, or if its coat is matted, you may want to cut them using a pair of electric clippers and a clip-on comb. If your dogs coat is matted, never try cutting with scissors, but instead, use clippers.

If the fur on the feet is growing beyond the foot pads, then it is time to bust out those dog-safe scissors and clip off that extra hair. To trim the hair around the dogs paws, pull the fur between the dogs toes and trim with scissors, instead of trying to trim below his feet, which can be difficult (and likely not fun for your puppy). After using clippers, you can cut hair around any sensitive areas, such as the dogs head, using a grooming scissors.

Grooming scissors for dogs should always be kept sharp, as just as when cutting your own hair, sharp scissors will easily cut hair without any tugging or discomfort on the skin. If your dog is not overly afraid of the head, you can use a fine-toothed comb, like a fleacomb, to remove hair from his or her skin and then clip with a pair of safety-tipped, circular scissors. If you know how to trim your dogs hair safely, and what tools are appropriate, you will be able to cut the dogs hair in between trips to the groomer.   If you are planning on doing simple cutting, you can easily keep up with your pets grooming and haircut, which is equally important while traveling. Things to consider are how long to let hair grow on specific parts of your dogs body so that they do not grow too close to the skin, which could cause your dog to get clipped, and which attachments a professional groomer uses for his clients. Well, obviously, if the answer was just cut hair, nobody would have asked about how it is done; but since every dog type has its own particular method of grooming, some might only require hair brushes every few weeks; whereas others would really require trimming every two months, and--well, you get my point.   Remember, each hair that you are able to manage to get off of your pet is one less hair that you have to clean. Clean fur is easier to trim, and a bath will get rid of any dirt or debris stuck to the dogs coat that might be caught by the clippers. In addition to cutting your dogs hair, groomers will shampoo dogs, clean ears, brush their coats, clip nails, and clean teeth -- all things that you can learn to do at home safely.
